Another modern author testifies as follows:
"It must not be forgotten that throughout the East, Saturday is looked on as a second Sunday. The Armenians keep Saturday is a day in honor of Almighty God the Creator of all things, and Sunday in commemoration of the new creation, brought about by the resurrection of our blessed Lord, Jesus Christ."
